I'm Donna G., the breeder behind Donna's Pomeranians located in West Newton, PA. We offer great family pets with a focus on temperament and health. We adore each and every one of our dogs! We are a small hobby breeder of Pomeranians and are dedicated to the well-being and health of each one. Our pups are born and raised in our home and are well-socialized.
Q. & A. with Donna
Why did you start breeding?
Breeding Pomeranians was by accident. In 1992 I fell in love with a little orange female Pom in a pet store, I had never seen a Pom before. My family only had hunting dogs. I brought her home without telling my husband. However, the whole family fell in love with her. We had her for a few years before I seen a tiny little male in the same store and could not leave without him. Well, the rest is history.
What makes your program special?
We only have a few litters per year. All puppies are born in our home and not in a kennel. It is our goal to find the best possible match between puppy and their new family.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are orange sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

We had the pleasure of adopting Theodore from Donna’s Pomeranians on December 5th, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Theodore arrived happy, healthy, and well-socialized, which is a testament to Donna's dedication and care. Throughout the process, Donna communicated with us every step of the way, ensuring that Theodore’s transition to our family was smooth and stress-free. Her thoughtful approach and attention to detail made the adoption process enjoyable and reassuring. We couldn't be more grateful for the wonderful addition to our family, and we highly recommend Donna's Pomeranians to anyone looking to adopt a Pomeranian.

My Pomeranian Kylie passed away in September, after 13.5 years and to say that I was devastated, would be an understatement. I didn't think I'd get another dog so soon, but after "just looking" and finding the GOOD DOG site, I started to change my mind. They say that your dog chooses you & I was convinced that in the event that I decided to get another Pom (are there any other kind of dogs? LOL) that my Kylie would let me know that they are "the one". I live in Michigan & for whatever reason, when I saw Donna's "Scarlett", I knew that she was the ONE. My boyfriend said..."So, we couldn't find a Pomeranian in Michigan that you like?" LOL!!! I was like.. "That's the one! She's in Pennsylvania, but I do NOT care, I want her!"
I paid the deposit and started planning the trip to get her.
Donna was so VERY kind, VERY responsive and communicative. I could just TELL that she was a great breeder who cared more about the puppies well-being than just doing this for the money. We planned on meeting half way, which turned out to be MUCH closer than I originally thought and literally EVERYTHING about the entire transaction was PERFECTION. I've had my little Abigail for 5 nights now and the amount of love we have for her is immeasurable. I HIGHLY recommend Donna's Pomeranians. It's very obvious that my new little sweetheart's personality is the result of a breeder who knows what she's doing and genuinely loves these dogs.
