Q. & A. with Dana

  • Why did you start breeding?

From the minute I brought home my very first poodle I knew I wanted others to experience the poodle and doodle love that I had found. Maltipoos, Maltese, toy poodles, are my passion. Our house is full and we adore each and every one. They are family!! I have spent many years researching perfect lines, coloring, & temperament before we ever started the breeding adventure!
  • What makes your program special?

All our puppies are raised only inside our home! We have our own puppy nursery inside our home with lots of room for our fur babies as well as their pups to play and get a great first start! I raise our puppies on early neurological stimulation/ puppy culture, I believe this makes puppies smarter, and healthier genetic health test all our dogs prior to breeding. We start potty pad training at 4 weeks of age. Puppies start going to their fur-ever homes at 8-9 weeks of age, with a great start to the potty training experience We do not hold puppies past adoption weekend! Which is set right at 8-9 weeks of age. So make sure you are prepared to pick your puppy up when he/she is ready to leave! (Take home days are posted on each puppies bio) Feel free to call or text me at 573-561-4445 to hear more about our program.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Poodle puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Yorkipoo puppies include tri-color, parti, blue and tan, chocolate, blue and gold, black and tan, and black and gold. Poodle puppies include apricot, black, brown, cream, red, white, parti, and phantom. Maltipoo puppies include parti, black & white, apricot, black, brown, cream, red, white, and champagne. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

I would absolutely recommend working with Dana! After losing our dog last year and deciding we were ready for a new one, I spent a lot of time following dog shelters, googling breeders, and looking on Good Dog. I was feeling so overwhelmed, but the second I found Dana’s page I knew it was the right fit. First of all, she has the CUTEST puppies! You can tell that she cares so much about breeding healthy and happy dogs. She is so great with communication and truly cared to answer all of my questions. Dana is so kind and I was impressed by the attention and care she gives her puppies. She shows them so much love and affection and makes sure they are safe, healthy, growing, and thriving. You can definitely tell that she loves what she does. All of the info she provides was so helpful, from parent details to the stimulation and exposure she does with the puppies to the shopping recommendations. She also is amazing with updates and providing photos and videos. We have had Milo for about two weeks and are absolutely in love with our sweet little guy. We are so thankful we found Dana!

We had the most wonderful experience with Dana from Doodle Pups Fur-Ever! She is absolutely amazing and such an attentive and caring breeder. Dana’s love for her puppies is evident in every step of the adoption process. She was responsive, communicative, and thorough in explaining the process and walking us through the selection and adoption of our maltipoo puppy. Dana provided an extensive list of supplies we would need, as well as how to care for her once she arrived. She sent us several pictures and a video every week, so we could watch her grow. ❤️ We knew she would be small and cute, but oh my goodness is she the most precious little bundle of puppy love and joy. Her tiny face is perfect, and she is a bright, affectionate, healthy, and beautiful puppy. We are extremely thankful for Dana and all her loving care!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience in bringing home our sweet Georgie than with Dana. I feel absolutely blessed to be the human mom of such a sweet boy, you can tell he was raised with such love and care for the first 8 weeks of his life. He is the most well-behaved, chill puppy I've ever known. I know sometimes puppies might be stressed when they transition to a new home but he adjusted so well. No issues with eating or drinking at all, no issues with crying at night, no issues with any noises, vacuums, thunder, washing dishes, etc. You can tell that he's gone through noise desensitization prior to coming home and that's very important to us as we don't want him to bark at a lot of noises and we don't want him afraid of noises. Anyone is able to hold him and handle him well and he loves to fall asleep while being held, even if you're walking around. Seriously the best dog we could have ever asked for and the experience with Dana as well was amazing. She kept in touch frequently sending pictures and updates up until the day of and even keeps in touch after. She provided his mother's scent blanket, toys, food, and a really nice, organized folder with all vet and vaccine information, something we will keep from day one until forever. Thank you Dana, we are forever grateful!!

I truly can’t thank Dana enough. I spent a long time searching for the right puppy and breeder—I was very intentional about finding not just a beautiful dog, but one who is healthy, well cared for, and raised by someone truly responsible and passionate. From the very beginning, Dana exceeded every expectation I had. Dana has been incredibly kind, responsive, and patient, always answering every question (even the smallest ones) with so much care and professionalism. It really made the entire process feel easy, comfortable, and trustworthy. What truly stands out is how much love and dedication Dana puts into what she does. It’s very clear that Dana genuinely cares about her puppies and the families they go to. And Toby… I’m absolutely in love with him. He is the sweetest, smartest, most wonderful little boy—I couldn’t have asked for a better companion. Thank you for raising him with so much love. Also, thank you so much for all the thoughtful details—the food, the blanket, the toy—it meant so much and was such a beautiful touch. I will absolutely recommend Dana to everyone I know. Anyone who is looking for a puppy should feel 100% confident choosing her—she truly does an amazing job. Thank you again for everything. I’m so grateful we found you 🤍
