I'm Lisha M., the breeder behind Doodles & Spice located in Milan, IN. We raise and train our dogs in our home right alongside our family. We love being able to match our puppies with families that are the perfect fit for their personalities.

Why did you start breeding?
My family has long bred hunting dogs. However, not a hunter myself, I've gone a slightly different route. As my preference has always been "designer breeds", my household has invested the time and energy towards cultivating litters of quality, hypoallergenic, and truly beautiful fur babies.What makes your program special?
When choosing parent pups, we focused not only on health and quality, but we tried to tie in truly beautiful physical traits as well that would ensure a litter of which to be proud. Our adorable puppies not only have that wonderfully energetic Bernedoodle personality, but we have a mix of coloring that makes each one truly unique.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

“All puppies come up-to-date on inoculations, wormed, microchipped, and dew claws will have been removed. Plus, they will also be well socialized, kid approved, and started with potty, leash, and obedience training. $250 nonrefundable deposit to reserve puppy of choice. Deposits are deducted from final price.”

About Ginger
Ginger is our tail-thumping, cuddle-craving F1 Bernedoodle. In addition to being the most affectionate fluff giant you'll ever meet, she loves playing fetch and running zoomies around the yard - especially if it's wet out! She's also best buddies with the mini mister in the family picture above. She and Ezra enjoy playing tug-o-war and follow-the-leader. On hot days, however, they can often be found laying around in the shade and taking turns using each other as a pillow. Ginger is a notorious digger, though, and she's been know to catch a mole or two after tunneling through freshly mowed - or freshly sewn - grass.

About Chai
Chai is our spirited, snuggle-seeking standard poodle. Since joining our family, Chai and Ginger (our Dame) have proven inseparable. However, Chai will still compete for attention if belly rubs and ear scratchings aren't dolled out in equal measure. Unlike Ginger, who likes to keep her paws on the ground, Chai doesn't understand he's a dog. Having must been a goat in a past life, Chai enjoys climbing playground equipment, sliding down slides, and exploring the unknown. While he's very smart and has shown great progress with training, like a goat, he's infamous for eating very bizarre items indeed!

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
