Meet the breeder

I'm Mandy B., the breeder behind Dots N Spots Dachshunds located in Krum, TX. We strive to breed for excellent temperaments, wonderful personalities and most of all health! We are first and foremost animal lovers and pet owners. All of our dogs are beloved family members before they are breeders. We strive to uphold the breed type and standard and take pride in doing so!

Q. & A. with Mandy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I worked in the veterinary field for years and have always enjoyed being around animals. Helping bring life into the world and making a family happy with a new pup has always been a passion of mine.
  • What makes your program special?

We DO NOT over breed our dogs nor do we rehome them after they have been retired from our breeding program. They will remain with us till their last days as they're part of our family and our pets before anything else! Our pups are raised in our home, are handled daily, and go home as well socialized pups. They are started on crate training and will be well on their way to being potty trained.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, blue and cream, blue and tan, fawn (isabella) and cream, fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and cream, and chocolate and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
