I'm Jan V., the breeder behind Dotted Doxies located in Havana, FL. We are a small family-owned breeder with two locations, Havana and Tallahassee Florida. My niece, Jennifer, and I fell in love with dachshunds and started breeding in 2009. We typically have 4-6 litters a year. This is not a business for us; we do it for the love of the breed. Our dogs are part of our family. Our Dams & Sires are genetically tested for health and genetic matching. We breed for temperament and do our best to align with AKC standards. We believe in reputable and ethical breeding practices and only offer our pups with a Limited AKC Registration (Pet Only). We do not offer our pups with Full AKC breeding rights. Our pups come pre-spoiled! We take great responsibility in ensuring all of our pups are healthy and well socialized.

Jan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jan partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Includes AKC Limited Registration (Pet Only). 1 year genetic guarantee. 6 weeks vet check and 1st set of shots. Age appropriate deworming and State of Florida Health Certificate. All pups are sent home with a sample of their food, soothing blanket (containing mom and litter mates scent), care guide and pup toys and treats. Deposits are non refundable except when determining specific coat types.”
