Meet the breeder

I'm Jamie B., the breeder behind Double B located in Mt. Vernon, TX. We hold ourselves to high standards for the integrity of our program. All of our puppies are socialized, have the proper vet checks, vaccines , and most importantly they are loved! Quality, health-tested, and socialized dogs are the principal components of our success as reputable breeders. We’re proud of the seamless transition our puppies are able to make as fun, lovable family members.

Q. & A. with Jamie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had a Dalmatian when I was 12 years old. Her name was Maybelline. She had one litter of puppies, and I loved how they changed from solid white to spotted after having a litter with my own dalmatians. I realized how much I love the breed. That is what made me become a breeder.

  • What makes your program special?

I have an 11-year-old and a 17-year-old, which are a lot of help to socialize the puppies. I am very honest and upfront about each puppy and about the breed I want my puppies to be in the best home possible.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Dachshund puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Dalmatian puppies include white and liver brown and white and black. Dachshund puppies are dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Jamie was very responsive and kept me in the loop for the entire adoption process. She clearly cares for her pups and takes excellent care of them. She provided me with weekly updates while I waited for my little man to come home so I felt included in the process even a few states away. My man is healthy and well socialized. He loves everyone including his canine and feline siblings!

I found the cutest ‘patch eared’ Dalmatian on Good dog! Jamie had all the answers to my questions and was easy to set up a pickup time. Riley is my new best friend.

Jamie is wonderful to work with. Teddy is beyond gorgeous. Pictures do not do him justice. He is very well socialized and has a great temperament and personality. Working through Good Dog was an easy and enjoyable experience. It was nice having the extra security Good Dog provides. Teddy is a childhood dream come true. I am thankful and blessed.
