I'm Cindy E., the breeder behind Down The Hill Potterdale located in Red Bank, CA. All of our puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors to produce happy, healthy pets for those seeking the best family companion! Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We are filled with love, joy and companionship our own dachshunds brought into our lives that we wanted to share this feeling with other families. My grandchildren are a huge part and their excitement to watch the puppies grow is beautiful. Through commitment to responsible breeding and love we have a breeding program that focuses on producing healthy and happy dachshunds for families to cherish.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are a small in-home breeder. Our entire program is family based. Our puppies are loved the minute they are born until they find their loving homes. We are always committed in making sure they are socialized, this means interacting with children and being exposed to other dogs, chickens and cats. Our puppies are raised and meant to be a part of your family. We are dedicated to making sure each puppy will fit into your home seamlessly. We have both AKC and CKC registered puppies. We look forward to helping you pick the perfect puppy.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, brindle, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Cindy

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
