I'm Jade W., the breeder behind Doxi Delights AKC Miniature Dachshunds located in Seagoville, TX. At Doxi Delights our dachshund are baked until perfect. Each batch of puppies are made with twice the Love and 10x the Sugar. Each Dachshund in our program at Doxi Delights are socialized with our family & friends, house cats, and other dogs. All animals are vetted with full health and vaccinations on file. We are located just outside of Dallas, TX.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Breeding has been something I’ve always been a part of from my grandmother to my mother and aunts to now me. I’m taking my experience from the veterinary field and combining it with my knowledge of family business of breeding to brand myself as Doxi Delights.

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program is one of a kind by testing genetics and recessive health conditions to improve the breeds overall health and genetic code. Improving the Dachshund’s existing traits.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, chocolate, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Jade

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Recently got married and we decided to get our first dog together and knew we wanted a mini long haired dachshund. This would be my fifth mini dachshund and my husband’s first. After searching the internet for one, we came upon Good Dog. We were hesitant about using an app, but after doing research found that it was legit. We then started searching and found Doxi Delights. After messaging and doing a video call we decided that the breeder was a good one. She had the lineage of the dachshund we wanted to purchase and saw that she really cared for each puppy in the liter as well as the parents. She gave weekly updates on the puppies, took them to the vet regularly, spent family time with them, had a crate in their playpen and kept them until 10 weeks. When she turned them over to the puppy parents, she sent them with a mamma blanket and a favorite toy so the puppy had way less separation anxiety. We got Berkeley at 10 weeks and he slept in his crate without crying. It was amazing. We have now had Berkeley 7 weeks and the breeder still checks in on him. It was really a great experience.
