I'm Elizabeth P., the breeder behind Doxie Darlings VA located in Appomattox, VA. Our puppies are bred for cuddles and raised with love to provide you with your family’s perfect pup! Our Miniature Long-Haired Dachshunds are bred with purpose—combining exceptional blood lines and early socialization to produce puppies that are not only beautiful and true to the breed standard, but also loving and ready to thrive in your home from day 1.

    Our puppies include cream, black, chocolate, chocolate and tan, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
