Why did you start breeding?
I took my 1st Dachshund to obedience classes sponsored by the local Kennel Club. They encouraged me to enter AKC obedience trials. After that, I had to have more Dachshunds that could do all events including conformation.
What makes your program special?
They are bred for health, temperament, and working ability.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have wirehaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are wild boar. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Ancho is a female Dachshund. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Pamela decided to make her part of their program. Pamela has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
