  • Why did you start breeding?

    I love dogs, I started showing and taking classes in others dog sports obedience, Rally, confirmation, and trick dog. I wanted to work on breeding and my lines. I joined the AZ Border collie club and have met a lot of great people.

  • What makes your program special?

    Love, commitment, TLC, respect to the breed

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Donna

Donna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,200 deposit and $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the pre-paid registration, age appropriate vaccinations and worming. Microchip, puppy packs, Lots of love and socializing with people and other dogs. Education as needed. All but $250 is refundable.”

Contract & health guarantee

Donna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Canine Good Citizen (CGC)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel, DNA Coat/Trait Panel, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), DNA Profile, Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I can't say enough wonderful things about Donna! She is a knowledgeable and dedicated breeder and an amazing and loving person. You can tell from the pictures on her website how much she cares about her dogs. From our first conversation, Donna was there for me every step of the way. She took the time to get to know me and help me set up my Gooddog account, which streamlined the whole process and included helpful tips and resources. Donna allowed me to be in my puppy's life long before I could pick her up. She sent weekly pictures, videos, and updates, so I could watch Lifey (my puppy) grow and play with her brothers and sisters. I had a wonderful time meeting Donna and her husband Greg, and their beautiful dogs. It was like a party – I got Lifey, and Lifey got a bag of goodies, including a letter Greg wrote with special notes, tips/suggestions, and specific information about Lifey's habits, preferences, etc. It was so thoughtful of him to put it together, and it was extremely helpful during the transition period.     Donna is clearly a very experienced breeder. She was a wonderful person to speak with as we went through the process. She dropped him off at the airport with his goodie bag, and was very responsive during his travel to us, and checked in on the puppy once he got to us. The puppy is a bright and active little one.
