I'm Debbie L., the breeder behind Dream Ranch Mini Aussies located in Eufaula, AL. We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality Miniature Australian Shepherds into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our dogs and are passionate about raising our puppies to be the best family companions.
Q. & A. with Debbie
Why did you start breeding?
We have a farm & raise farm animals. We got our first Aussie 9 years ago. We love the breed & decided to research breeding healthy, loving Aussies. It takes a lot with testing, socializing, training. But, I love Aussies & I love genetics. It is rewarding to pair them & see the genetics come through giving you a healthy, happy, beautiful puppy. I love watching them grow with their new families.
What makes your program special?
We work hard to produce puppies to meet breed standards. We test adult dogs for genetic diseases. They receive routine worming, vaccines & vet exams. They are in our house, part of the family & are trained to pine litter, have begun potty training - taking them out regularly & having them "go potty". They love to play with our grandchildren, are exposed to the farm animals & we use Puppy Culture.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle, black tri, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

We are so pleased with Tux He is the perfect addition to our family. He’s only had one accident since we got him. I can’t believe he already house broken. He loves our bulldog Winston and they play together when Winston is in the mood. Debbie did such a great job getting Tux ready for his forever home. He came to us confident and eager to learn. He does well on our boat, loves all the other dogs at the dog park. Hops right in the car to go places with us. We can’t thank Debbie enough for this little guy. I would highly recommend Debbie’s puppy’s to anyone who wants a mini Aussie Shepard. He’s perfect in every way.
