Karen C.

Breeder of Maltese

Meet the breeder

I'm Karen C., the breeder behind DreamMaker Maltese located in La Cygne, KS. I am a longtime show breeder of quality Maltese. I strive to produce healthy, happy, socialized puppies. My goal is to do my part as a breeder to maintain the Maltese breed standard. Puppies I do not keep to show are available to approved pet homes.

Q. & A. with Karen

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love of the Maltese breed is what gave me the desire to share what I had with others.
  • What makes your program special?

Over the years I have owned several different breeds of large breed dogs. After discovering the Maltese I knew I had found my breed. My desire to improve and protect the Maltese breed is what led me to seek a mentor to help me begin conformation competition in AKC dog shows.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Karen

Karen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $350 deposit and between $2,400 - $3,150 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a one year health guarantee, first two puppy vaccinations, worming, vet check and registration with AKC. This deposit will be refunded if I am notified at least one month prior to the puppy being ready to go to his new home. This allows me to find another home while the puppy is still young.”

Contract & health guarantee

Karen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Karen offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Karen directly.
