I'm Doris S., the breeder behind D's DeVine Shih-Tzu located in Parma, OH. Hi I am Doris Sheaffer I am the breeder behind D's DeVine Shih Tzu I fell in love with the breed in my early teens and I have had them as pets for well over 25 years. I was mentored by a breeder with over 40 years of experience. She taught me everything she could on breeding.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My sister n law became bedridden with MS and I quit my job to become her fulltime caregiver I still needed to have a paycheck and one of my best friends was a breeder she taught me everything that she could and became my mentor. So I invested in getting wonderful dogs with great personalities and great Embark results and got started now I have puppies all over the country and Canada.

  • What makes your program special?

    I believe that the daily touching and handling of the puppies and kissing each of them when their eyes open and welcoming them to the world is just some of the things that make my program special. I used to let them go to their forever home at 8 weeks, however I noticed how much training their moms gave them between weeks 8 and 10. Making the puppies more comfortable and interactive.

Getting a puppy from Doris

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes 1 year health guarantee, first vet checkup and vaccinations, worming, AKC registration if desired and deworming. All of our puppies are the same price depending on full registration or limited and also if you actually want them registered or choose not to have your puppy registered all parents are 100% purebred.”
