I'm Sharon W., the breeder behind D-S Ranch Corgis located in Tucson, AZ. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Our dogs have proven to be the greatest companions to our family. We started breeding to contribute to breed betterment and to share smart and loveable puppies with other families.

Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with the breed many years ago. I spent a long time learning about the breed, the do's and don'ts and learning about genetics. I am still learning every day. Corgis are one of my favorite breeds, and I enjoy sharing my passion and knowledge with others.
What makes your program special?
We learned early on about frequent genetic defects that commonly affect these beautiful creatures. It was heartbreaking to learn. I decided to do my part to become a responsible breeder and have all my Corgis genetically tested I do what I can to help eradicate genetic defects. I genetically test all my corgis for DM, VWD, and EIC. We NEVER breed an affected dog only clears or carriers.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, sable, blue, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sharon

Sharon has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes AKC papers, and vet paperwork for the 1st shots. Tails & dew claws have been removed by a licensed Veterinarian. Puppies are well socialized and eating dry puppy food when they leave. Deposit is NON REFUNDABLE if you change your mind, but 100% refundable if something happens to the puppy while in our care you will be offered a refund, or your choice of another puppy if available.”

Sharon may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Tulip is the prettiest girl on the farm. She is so gentle and loving. She has the cutest little expressions on her face always. She loves everyone and gets along well with all the farm animals. She is a 1st time mom, and so far, is one of the best mammas we have. Her pups are absolutely stunning.

Don't let her name fool you Rowdy is a cuddle bug. She loves to just follow us around the property, sniffing, playing, and sunbathing. She absolutely loves being a mommy. Rowdy is clear of DM, VWD, EIC, and PRA-RCD3.

Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Sharon is a fantastic breeder and I couldn't be happier with the new addition to our family. Throughout the process, she was extremely communicative and shared a ton of knowledge with us about our new baby and how to care for him. She also shared pictures when we asked and made sure to keep us fully updated on anything going on with our pup. She let us come down and visit so we could meet her, the puppy, and his mother.
