I'm Anette O., the breeder behind Dscho Utra Tibetans located in Iowa. We’ve created a responsible and thoroughly researched breeding program out of our love for our magnificent dogs! Our program is dedicated to only breeding dogs that we know are exemplary representations of the standard and will make a positive contribution to their line and to the families who love them. We care so deeply for the puppies we’re able to share with other Tibetan Terrier lovers! In addition to our quality breeding program, we love to participate in the show ring!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 4 (rcd4), PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 3 (rcd3), Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis, Tibetan Terrier Type, Primary Lens Luxation (PLL)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
