I'm Bethany P., the breeder behind Du Poilu located in Riverside, CA. Our breeding program focuses on health and temperament. Sweetness is the Hallmark of the breed. Our dogs have OFA hips, elbows, advanced cardiac, and are Cystinuria clear/non carriers. We are members of the Newfoundland Club of America and the Newfoundland Club of Southern California. In addition to being excellent family companions, our dogs are therapy dogs and love swimming. Our dogs are truly gentle giants and especially love children.

About Eleanor
Eleanor has our ideal temperament. She is as sweet as can be. Eleanor has never met a stranger and LOVES children. She’s a confident dog you can take anywhere. She has a lovely mellow energy while maintaining a playful side. She loves carrying around her stuffed animals and loves swimming. Eleanor has her AKC Canine Good Citizen certification and is titled in Dock Diving. In conformation Eleanor has her UKC Championship and her IABCA International Championship.
