Breeder of Cocker Spaniels

Meet the breeder

I'm Dina B., the breeder behind Dune Cockers located in Augusta, KY. I am a preservationist breeder and member of national breed club-The American Spaniel Club, and two local cocker clubs ( I am secretary of one); and member of an All- Breed Club, The Northern Kentucky Kennel Club.

Q. & A. with Dina

  • Why did you start breeding?

I felt I could breed a better dog than what I was seeing in the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

I care a great deal about the health of my dogs – I get their eyes and hips tested and contribute ASC research at the University of Pennsylvania in an effort to find the gene for cataracts in cocker spaniels. I enjoy showing my dogs and am a proud member of The American Spaniel Club, am local breed clubs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
