I'm Gustavo C., the breeder behind East Mini Dachshunds Texas located in Wills Point, TX. Our dogs are bread from healthy adult adults. We offer pet home only puppies. We take pride in the time and dedication we give to every litter.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    When I moved here, I married somebody that has been breeding dachshunds for over 30 years. I fell in love with the breed and now couldn’t imagine life without him.

  • What makes your program special?

    Re-thrive on having happy healthy, socialized puppies that are vet cleared before going to their new home. They are part of your family not just a pet.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, brindle, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Gustavo

Gustavo has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Gustavo partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We match puppies between the ages of 7 to 8 weeks. We evaluate their temperament to make sure that they are so unhappy go lucky.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $3,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes registration papers with your Puppy up-to-date on vaccines deworming and a health vet check. Our puppies have a 250 nonrefundable deposit. It doesn’t matter sex, color and coat.”

Contract & health guarantee

Gustavo may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     This was our first time to use the Good Dog app in our search for a new puppy. It was for my daughter‘s 15th birthday and we had recently put down our 16-year-old dog in April. Gustavo had great communication with quick replies. Pick up was fairly easy. I do wish I received a bit more written instruction in regards to puppy care/handling for the first week or two of transition so that I did not have to message him separately, other than that, I have absolutely no complaints. He is a very well bred dog and 100% exactly what we were looking for. I definitely would recommend Gustavo if you’re looking for your next dachshund puppy purchase!
