I'm Kaci H., the breeder behind East Texas Dachshunds located in Troup, TX. Our program is built on a commitment to raising healthy, well-socialized, and well-mannered Dachshund puppies. Each litter is intentionally socialized and acclimated from an early age to support confident temperaments and smooth transitions into their new homes. All puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors, where they receive individualized care, daily handling, and early exposure to a home environment. While conformation and appearance are important, our primary focus is producing sound, affectionate companions with stable temperaments and excellent overall health. Before going home, every puppy receives a full veterinary health check and age-appropriate first vaccinations, ensuring they start life healthy and well-prepared. Our puppies are also introduced to children, larger dogs, and cats to help them become adaptable and family-ready. At East Texas Dachshunds, we take pride in responsibly raising puppies that are prepared to thrive as cherished members of their forever families.

Why did you start breeding?
My mother in law has been breeding dachshunds for years and has passed on her passion for this breed to us!What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is family-centered and ethics-driven, with all puppies raised indoors in our home alongside our children. We prioritize health, temperament, and early socialization, providing individualized care, early exposure to other animals and children, and a full veterinary health check with first vaccinations before each puppy goes to their forever home.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
