Meet the breeder

I'm Samantha B., the breeder behind E&C Australian Shepherds located in Altmar, NY. We are a small breeding program building our reputation in CNY, that strives to raise healthy AKC standard sized Australian Shepherds with the correct conformation, and an exceptional disposition. Puppies are well socialized with people and other animals from a young age.

Q. & A. with Samantha

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding to better the breed. I love how versatile Australian shepherds are. They love to work and play hard, and then have an off button and can come inside and be an incredible part of the family. I want to share my love of the breed with everyone, and produce incredible examples of the Australian shepherd.
  • What makes your program special?

We go the extra mile to make sure you’re getting a well socialized, healthy puppy that will be comfortable when they go home with you.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
