I'm Holly & Wray N., the breeder behind Edgewood Acres Miniature Longhair Dachshunds located in Moundville, MO. We strive for healthy, happy litters from healthy happy and slightly nutty dachshund parents. This breed has just as much personality as they do the need for ethical breeding. Each of our dogs gets thoroughly vetted before entering our program.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our program started after years of rescue and rehabilitation of bully breeds when my mom wanted a little dog for my granny. Found out there were more scammers than real breeders making a difference. We decided to start our own program with the knowledge we had from years of rehab work. We strive to breed toward the standard and produce healthy puppies for their new families.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Holly & Wray

Holly & Wray has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Holly & Wray partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take the time to discuss puppy’s future home life, address questions new parents may have. Take time to give some education on the breed if they have not done their research. Suggest puppies fitting family based on personality instead of color and gender. ”

Price

Puppy prices include between $500 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Prices range depending on how registered or non registered a litter is. Each litter is cared for the same way! Declaws removed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, socialized, and more. Deposits are half down and only refundable if puppy doesn’t pass their first vet check around three weeks old. Home visits welcome once they are four weeks old.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
