I'm Eileen L., the breeder behind Eileen’s Yorkies of Havasu located in Lake Havasu City, AZ. I do not breed to get the smallest dogs available. I breed my Yorkies and Biewer to produce healthy puppies from healthy parents who have loving dispositions and are socialized so that when they go home, they will fit into your lifestyle and give you many years of love and affection.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My sister was a Breeder before me. I came to Lake Havasu in 2010 to help her and to take care of her because she was disabled. I had been helping her with Yorkies for sometime before that but it became a full-time job taking care of her and taking care of the Yorkies and the puppies. I learned what to do when a Female was ready to have her puppies and how to breed them. I have learned much more since I took over in 2013 after my sister passed away. I love the Yorkies and their personalities. I think they’re one of the best breeds around and I recently purchased a couple of female Biewer Terriers, and one male Biewer for breeding purposes. They are beautiful dogs and have wonderful personalities. I should be having some of that breed soon I hope. My boy is finally old enough to produce Puppys and take care of the girls so I’m looking forward to providing beautiful.Biewer Puppies as well as Yorkshire Terrier puppies.

  • What makes your program special?

    I would say I am a very hands-on breeder. From the time I get a new female or male, I am concerned with how well they eat and how they fit into the group. When they have their first litter of puppies, I am right there, helping them to produce the puppies and get the puppies breathing well on their own and making sure they can latch onto Mom. I have a very good survival rate with my dogs. It is a rare occurrence when I lose a puppy, it does happen, but not very often. My breeding program is not To Breed for small size puppies but To Breed for healthy puppies so that when they go home they will be the best Puppy they could possibly be. They are going to be someone’s addition to their family and I try always to give them the best of the best. When my puppies go to their new homes, their parents can call me at any time for advice or suggestions if they’re having a problem with anything. I’ve been doing this long enough to have learned a few tricks and a lot about what you should not do. If they ask me for help, I will be there for them.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate, tan and white, blue and gold, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All of Puppys come with a health guarantee first vaccinations and registration papers. You can ask me any questions about my dogs and I am happy to discuss them with you and let you know all pertinent information about the Puppy you will be getting. All puppies are the same price, regardless of size and color for special request of micro chipping or other specific items you would like there will be an additional charge to cover that cost. All deposits are nonrefundable unless your reason for backing out has to do with your health or the loss of a loved one in your family. That decision is made case by case hopefully you would never be in a position to request a refund, but sometimes things happen and I understand that.”
