I'm Kassidy O., the breeder behind Elaine’s Yorkies located in Columbus, OH. Yorkies are the best! They're smart, stubborn, cuddly, cute, and non-shedding. I get them started at 4 weeks with potty training, crate training at 6 weeks and socialization. They will go home sometime between 10-12 weeks with full health and vaccinations. Parents are with me for life!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I fell in love with the breed with my first yorkie in 2018 (he's the uncle). I worked closely with his breeder who taught me so much. I then moved to another state, took 3 courses to educate myself further and bought a mom and dad. I completely fell in love with the whole process from the "mingling" to birth to building confidence in these dogs for their new homes to the genetics.

  • What makes your program special?

    My goal is to give my puppy parents the best dog for their family and to train up these puppies to leave in confidence and in good health. I focus a lot on exposing them to car rides, potty training, grass, loud sounds, kids, other dogs and different people. My other goal is to better the breed. I always health test my parents to ensure great health and keep up great with my puppy parents.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and tan and blue and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kassidy

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"This price includes deworming, vaccinations, health check, AKC registration, ethical home raise program, 2-3 weekly updates of puppies growth, and a great puppy pack for your puppy to come home with! This deposit goes to the care of your pup in the beginning weeks. Deposits are non-refundable, but could be transferred to a litter in the future if unable to home at the time."

Kassidy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
