I'm Arlene R., the breeder behind Elegancia Vintage Xoloitzcuintle located in Victorville, CA. We strive for puppies with excellent temperament and health! All our puppies are properly socialized and thoroughly loved! Our dogs are part of the family first, we breed for quality and not quantity. Health and temperament is our priority with a touch of athleticism. We focus on breed standards as much as we possibly could. Your puppy will come well socialized with other household pets and children.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My dad was a breeder and I have always been around breeding it’s really all I know and love.

  • What makes your program special?

    We don’t breed for money we breed because we just love the breed and we want this breed to strive, this breed is a primitive breed and if not bred correctly they can easily go instinct. We breed to preserve this wonderful breed of ours!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Xoloitzcuintli puppies include toy and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our Xoloitzcuintli puppies include hairless and coated coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Xoloitzcuintli puppies include tan, palomino, gray, fawn, dark brown, brindle, black and white, black, slate, red, liver, and bronze. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    I can't say enough good things about this breeder! Arlene went above and beyond to answer all of my questions. She made arrangements for the puppy to travel across the country, all the way to Florida with a flight nanny that was wonderful to work with as well. He (flight nanny) kept me posted on how the flight was going and was very easy to work with. The puppy is a wonderful addition to our family! She is already trained to use the puppy pad. The puppy arrived with all of her documents and a very sweet care package. I highly recommend this breeder! This was a great experience from start to finish.
