I'm Ashling C., the breeder behind Elemental Shepherds located in New Mexico. We are a small hobby breeder that breeds quality Australian Shepherds for temperament and standard. Our dogs live in our home and guardian homes, they are our pets first and foremost.
Q. & A. with Ashling
Why did you start breeding?
I had done a lot of research on the breed and wanted to help others get a great, well balanced Aussie so I decided to start breeding.
What makes your program special?
We truly care about the pups we produce. We love updates, we follow all Instagram accounts/Facebook pages. We do Early Neurological Stimulation and we do the best we can to prepare the puppies for their new home. We have a questionnaire that every interested party must fill out. We are not first come first serve and we guide you towards the pup that best fits your needs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Rowan, dad
Australian Shepherd
About Rowan
Rowan is our red-factored blue merle male. He resides in a guardian home with my mother, but he is able to be studded out to select females. He is a retired service dog and is a beloved member of the family these days. He is half-brother to our girl Willow.
Willow, mom
Australian Shepherd
About Willow
Willow is our sweet and spicy red tri girl! She is 4 years old and loooooves to get dirty and play in the water outside and curl up at my feet inside. She talks back a bit when she’s feeling spicy, but overall she’s just a sweet loving girl. We’re hoping to find a place to start dock diving with her soon!
Blaze, mom
Australian Shepherd
About Blaze
Blaze was my first Aussie. The "one that started it all" as they say. She is the mother of Rowan, our stud, and Willow, our up and coming female. She has crossed over the rainbow bridge, but her legacy continues on through her children.
