I'm Abbie H., the breeder behind Elevated Standards NC located in Ferguson, NC. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    OUR MISSION Anyone who has ever experienced the amazing love of a pet knows that the connection is sacred. Over the years there have been many amazing breeds of dogs who have been a part of our family. Looking for a new connection, we researched the Standard Poodle and Doodle breeds. After bringing home our 3 Standard Poodle females and Golden Doodle male pups in the summer of 2019, we quickly knew these breeds were for us. We have developed a true admiration for these dogs' athleticism intelligence and beauty. The Standard Poodles reputation as a foo-foo breed is so far from the truth. They are made for life on the farm, long hikes, water-loving fun, and couch snuggling! Add to that the benefits of the Doodles lovable compatibility and you have the perfect match! At Elevated Standards, we are committed to being responsible breeders who are committed to maintaining the integrity and our lines while matching our puppies with loving, forever homes.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are a small family breeder who specializes in raising well adjust, highly socialized and health tested family companions.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies are standard size. Poodle puppies are standard size. Bernedoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream and black. Poodle puppies are parti. Bernedoodle puppies include tri-color and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Abbie

Abbie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Abbie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 deposit and between $700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Pups will be UTD on shots & deworming, registration, family raised & well socialized, non-shedding. Parents Embark health and genetically tested and cleared. $300 deposit to reserve, applied to your balance. Deposit is transferable to another litter in the case we are not able to fit you with a puppy.”

Abbie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • OFA/CHIC DNA Repository, DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Neonatal Cortical Cerebellar Degeneration (NCCD), von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We are crazy in love with our little Clause, aka Buck! He had a 2 hr ride home and did great, even napped off and on. He is so friendly and gives so many kisses and his tail wagging is a blur.     Abbie from Elevated Standards went above and beyond in every possible way to ensure I felt confident and prepared before bringing my new puppy home. We video called multiple times so I could see my sweet boy, Fern, before pickup, and it was clear she truly cares about her puppies and the families they go to. Fern came to me with an amazing personality — happy, social, and extremely well-adjusted to all types of animals and people of all ages. His potty training was nearly flawless prior after pickup, which made the transition so much easier. It’s clear that Abbie puts an incredible amount of time, love, and dedication into raising her puppies, and it truly shows in their temperament, health, and confidence. I can’t thank her enough for giving me such a wonderful companion, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Elevated Standards to anyone looking for a healthy, happy, and well-raised Standard Poodle.

    We found Abbie on the Good Dog site and from the beginning it was a wonderful experience. She did a FaceTime call with me within a couple of hours after I first contacted her so we could see the puppies. Her puppies were beautiful and her family does a wonderful job breeding them and getting the puppies ready for their forever home. She was very responsive throughout the entire process. She gave us updates and sent photos/videos each week. She gave us great information like the puppy’s schedule, food brand/type they were eating, and other helpful hints so we could be ready to bring our puppy home. I would highly recommend her as a breeder. She specializes in the poodle, Bernedoodle and golden doodle breeds and she limits the number of litters each year which in my opinion makes her top tier. We are looking forward to helping our Bogey grow into a sweet loving boy!
