Meet the breeder

I'm Amber G., the breeder behind Elite Blend Labradoodles located in Citrus Heights, CA. Welcome to Elite Blend Labradoodles. Labradoodles are a family affair here at Elite Blend. My husband Steven and I live with our two young boys near Sacramento, California on almost an acre of land. We pride ourselves on our selective breeding practices and are committed to furthering the quality and use of the American and Australian Labradoodle.

Q. & A. with Amber

  • Why did you start breeding?

Always a dog lover, my interest started with my personal dogs. I learned more and more about training and wanted to start from the ground up—producing and raising pups, then training.
  • What makes your program special?

We specialize in producing Labradoodle puppies with calm, loving, and easy to train personalities - but also have enough stamina for fetch, jogging, and swimming. All of our breeding dogs live in approved Guardian Homes. It is important to us that all of our breeding dogs enjoy the love that comes with a regular family life.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Australian Labradoodle puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Labradoodle puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Australian Labradoodle puppies include caramel ice, caramel cream, caramel, caramel red, red, apricot, chocolate, and black. Labradoodle puppies include caramel cream, caramel, caramel red, red, gold, apricot, cream, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

I am absolutely in love with my new pup, Waldo! After traveling for two days, he’s been home with me for 48 hours and has already settled in beautifully. He hasn’t had any accidents in the house, is already crate trained, happy, and even slept through the night! I’ll admit I was a challenging customer, having had a Labradoodle before from a breeder who was less than stellar, but Sara and Amber were amazing. They supported me thoroughly throughout the process, answering all my questions and making sure everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend Elite Blend Labradoodles to anyone looking for a well-adjusted, happy puppy and a truly caring, professional breeder.

We really appreciated interacting with Amber and getting from her our furry bundle of joy - Sunny. Amber made the process of getting the puppy and understanding what to expect once you bring the puppy home (including what to do and not to do) really easy and straightforward, which was extremely helpful since we have never purchased a puppy before. Sunny is a happy and healthy puppy, which is what we wanted. Thank you, Amber!

Hi Amber, just wanted to again thank you for your time, patience, and expertise in helping me find my little buddy Tucker. We’re having all the fun, craziness and love that comes with a new puppy. The training that you gave Tucker before he came to live with me has been so helpful. Potty training is a work in progress but that’s to be expected. My entire neighborhood knows his name and my grandchildren are so excited. Tucker gets his last set of shots next week so that’s when even more adventures begin. I’ll send along some pictures as he grows. Thanks again!! Steve

I was very lucky to find Amber through good dog. I worked with Sara from her team through the process and I couldn't have expected a better experience. Sara kept sending us weekly pictures and videos of the pups and I learnt so much from the once a week emails to prepare for bringing my puppers home. I couldn't be there in person for puppy selection and I am glad Sara guided me through that over a video chat.. so grateful for her loving care and guidance.
