I'm Donna F., the breeder behind Elk Ridge Australian Shepherds located in Banks, OR. I'm the Breeder behind Elk Ridge Aussies. I live on a 17 acre farm where I raise Australian Shepherds, Hay and Garlic! I work to raise and train Australian Shepherds in Agility, Dock Diving, Conformation and Obedience. I strive to raise happy, healthy puppies who are outstanding representatives of the breed!

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up on a farm. We have always produced quality horses, goats, cattle and now dogs to share with others. Our breeding programs strive to produce high quality animals who improve the breed and are strong and healthy.
What makes your program special?
I network with other breeders to continually learn and improve.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red & white, red merle, blue merle, red, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes a non-refundable $500 deposit. Our pet home puppies are $2500 no matter what color combo and or gender.
. The deposit secures your spot on the waiting list. The order received determines your lineup in picking a puppy. Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to any future litter.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
