I'm Jacqueline D., the breeder behind Ellendale Labradors located in Hickory, NC. We are a small hobby breeder of Labradors with a focus on health and temperament. We breed standard and dilute colors. Our fur babies are health tested and their pedigrees are extensively researched prior to adding them to my family as a future breeding prospect. Health & genetic testing are a priority. Pups are AKC registered and go home with a written health guarantee and puppy pack. It is our goal to provide our dogs with the best start in life and to be there for each of our buyers!

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
