I'm Laquinn R., the breeder behind ELSRi’s Crimson Cross Mini Aussies located in Hartselle, AL. Small breeder of quality, health tested, ASDR registered Miniature Australian Shepherds/AKC registered Mini American Shepherds. Located in beautiful North Alabama. We breed to breed standard and desire to produce wonderful companions, working/show dogs, sport dogs, and beautiful examples of the breed.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I researched the breed standard, had genetic testing done, then had hips OFA’d before deciding that Bernie was beautiful example of the breed. I found the perfect mate for her. Rim Fire Kennels in Oregon had a red merle male I purchased in hopes that he would make the cut as future sire. After his testing came back clear, he has sired seven litters for me. He is an Elite Grand Champion with ASDR and has agility (level 2) and rally (EGrCh with ASDR and novice with AKC) performance titles as well. We strive for excellence in the show ring and performance rings.

  • What makes your program special?

    I strive to pair dogs that will complement each other in my efforts to produce offspring as close to meeting the breed standard as possible. I want my dogs to be a great representation of the breed, easy to train in any discipline, and beautiful to look at.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blue merle and black tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
