



I'm Kim & Rob S., the breeder behind Emerald Cockers/Frog Valley K9's LLC located in Pomona, KS. Our breeding program focuses on producing puppies that are both physically and temperamentally sound. Our puppies go on to excel in many activities: conformation ring, dock diving, narcotics detection, search & rescue, agility, and loving companions. Our dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of the family. We prepare all of our pups to excel in all areas of life!

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kim & Rob partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Please contact us for pricing. Price covers AKC registration and microchip with lifetime registration. A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your puppy. The remainder of the payment must be received prior to picking your puppy up.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
