Q. & A. with Emily
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up on a farm, always around animals of all sorts. Found that my love and passion for animals was the reason to be on the earth. Was given my first lab Jordan at the age of 14, he lived to be 17 years old. We call him the 'Legend'. After his passing in 2019 I knew the world needed to have more healthy, sound and beautiful well bred Labradors in it, so I educated myself and once I decided to breed Labs it became a long term goal!
What makes your program special?
My dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. My ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various performance venues and have the ability to be the greatest family companions. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and conformation of my puppies.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Harper
Harper was born here in our home May of 2021. She has a fantastic drive to learn, please and explore. She has done introduction to dock diving, scent tracking (Pheasant and deer sheds) and introduction to gun fire. Fall of 2024 she completed her first successful Pheasant hunt, one more race and she’ll will have her first title in FastCat. She has done an excellent job with these trainings and will continue with training and hope to join some competitions this summer. She has such a kind and loving temperament, and is always up for any adventure, snuggles and belly rubs!

Breeder-Reported Testing
Great level

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), DNA Disease Panel, D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
