I'm Margaret S., the breeder behind Emory Oak Aussies located in Kings Mountain, KY. Big O Little o Ranch home of Emory Oak Aussies, located in South Central Kentucky . We depend on our Aussies 24/7 from helping us do chores to watching and guarding the family at night. We have Emory Oak Aussies across the USA, Canada and Czech Republic. We strive to bred healthy dogs with great work ethics that are loyal and trainable while preserving some of the great lines, Hangin Tree, Pincie Creek, Certik Bertik, Magnum Force.

Why did you start breeding?
A breeder and friend bred Australian Shepherds. I fell in love with the breed. I wanted working lines. I went from having 1 dog, to now having 6, which is my limit. I believe in dogs being part of the family not kenneled all the time and just be used for breeding.What makes your program special?
I value reserving some of the great work lines that are no longer available upfront.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
