About Medley
Medley as a person is very vocal and full of spunk. She's very sweet, loves everyone and lives in harmony with 4 other dogs and 3 cats, one of whom is one of her best playmates. She has an intensity level of 200% and loves to do anything that involves play or training. Training wise, she is over the top and wild with toys but is more calculated and intense with treats. She's been an excellent conformation dog so far, giving her best and taking it very seriously for such a young dog. Disc and tug are her favorite sports right now and she's starting to really enjoy agility training as well. As a puppy she needed proper introductions to new places/dogs but warmed up very quickly. As she's matured she is not phased by new situations. She's going to be an excellent sports dog and has beautiful structure. She has a very strong front, lovely angulation and placement. Her rear is also lovely, though not quite as nice as her front. She lacks slightly in her turn of stifle and I'd like to see her hocks let down just a little more. She moves like a dream: swift, fluid, and effortlessly. Nice reach in her shoulder and drive behind her. She ends up with a lovely toe to toe silhouette. She has beautiful head structure and shape. Her ears set perfectly. Overall I'm very happy with her expression. I feel Medley embodies the border collie ideal very well: an athlete with a level head and passion to work for her owner while also being flashy and beautiful.
