Taila B.

Breeder of Border Collies

Meet the breeder

I'm Taila B., the breeder behind Ensemble Border Collies located in Haysville, KS. Our dogs are bred for temperament, health, structure, and athleticism. My goal is to breed a structurally sound Border Collie that can easily finish in a conformation ring and move effortlessly while also being able to work in any field required of them.

Q. & A. with Taila

  • Why did you start breeding?

After I got my first Border Collie I knew eventually I wanted to get into breeding. She was unhealthy because of lack of health testing and knowledge. From then on I started my journey to research and discover what my type was and what my goal was. It took me 10 years before I had my first litter and I breed sparingly.
  • What makes your program special?

My Border Collies excel in conformation and sports. They are able to move fluidly and earn their Championship titles in multiple venues, they are also athletes who have a will to work and please.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
