I'm Ashley M., the breeder behind EntityDachs located in Perry, FL. Dachshunds have completely stolen my heart. I’ve been a dedicated breeder for the past five years, and what started as a love for the breed quickly grew into a full-blown passion for improving it through responsible, thoughtful breeding practices. My program is focused on health, temperament, and structure. Each litter is carefully planned with long-term goals in mind, and I prioritize quality over quantity. My dogs are raised in my home — not in kennels — and are a part of the family from day one. They’re well-socialized with people, sounds, routines, and other pets, giving them a strong foundation before they head off to their forever homes. I also began showing my dachshunds in the conformation ring through professinal handlers. It’s been an exciting way to further educate myself and evaluate my breeding dogs against the breed standard. It’s not just about ribbons — it’s about producing dachshunds that are as correct and sound as they are sweet and cuddly.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience getting our baby Cleo! From the very beginning, Ashley was kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about the health and well-being of every puppy. It was clear that the puppies were raised in a clean, loving environment and received plenty of attention and socialization. Cleo came home happy, healthy, and full of personality. Ashley answered all of our questions, provided helpful information, and made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. You can tell she truly loves what she does and is dedicated to raising exceptional puppies. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and are so grateful to have found our sweet Cleo. We highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a healthy, well-loved puppy. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful new member into our family!

I can’t recommend Ashley enough! From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive, kind, and reliable. She kept me updated every step of the way with plenty of photos and videos, which made the wait for Alfie so special. She was always happy to answer my questions and text with me, and I never felt like I was bothering her. It’s so clear how much she genuinely loves and cares for every puppy she raises. Alfie came home healthy, happy, well-socialized, and has been such an amazing addition to our family. You can tell Ashley puts her whole heart into giving her puppies the very best start in life. I’ve already recommended her to all of my friends and family, and I wouldn’t hesitate to get another puppy from her in the future. If you’re looking for a breeder who truly cares about her dogs and the families they go to!

We spent months researching breeders before deciding on Nixie (Sobble), and honestly, it was such a stressful process. The more we learned, the more we realized that choosing the breeder and their program is far more important than choosing a puppy based on coat color or how cute they are—which, admittedly, is REALLY hard to ignore. 😂 We reached out to several breeders, and the experience was a mixed bag. We were hoping to stay local, but we kept coming back to Nixie. My wife wanted an 8-week-old puppy. Nixie turned 9 weeks old on Tuesday. We had a FaceTime call with Ashley at 9:00 AM Central, and by 6:00 PM, I was on a plane to Jacksonville. 😂 Insanely fast, right? But when you know, you know. That 45-minute conversation with Ashley was what ultimately put both my wife Becca’s and my very skeptical minds at ease. It was immediately obvious that Ashley is not a backyard breeder. Her dogs are being shown, her program is intentional, and Nixie’s dad is an AKC Grand Champion. If you aren’t familiar with what that means, it’s worth looking up—but the short version is that her dogs are excellent examples of the breed and have been evaluated against the AKC breed standard. More importantly, Ashley has an incredible amount of knowledge. She didn’t just answer our questions; she actually taught us things we didn’t know to ask. That meant a lot to us because we wanted to make sure we were supporting a responsible breeding program and bringing home a healthy, well-bred puppy—not simply finding the cutest puppy available. The next morning they met me at my hotel a few hours before my flight left, handed Nixie over with a great goodie bag, and gave me one last piece of info: she’ll either curl up on your shoulder or crawl right between your seat and your back and pop her head out. And that’s exactly what she did. 😂 As I write this, Nixie is flying back to Dallas with me. She has handled the entire trip like a champ. She has had zero issues in her carry-on, occasionally poking her head up to make sure I’m still there before settling back down for a nap. We couldn’t be happier with our decision. If you’re researching breeders, my biggest advice is to research the program, not just the puppy. Ask questions, talk to the breeder, learn about the parents, their health testing, titles, breeding philosophy, and what happens after you take your puppy home. For us, that process led us straight to Ashley—and we’re incredibly thankful it did. We can’t say enough good things about our experience with Ashley. If the time ever comes for another dachshund, we’re going straight back to her. No questions asked.

Ashley is one of the best quality breeders I have met. Beautiful, well-kept, happy and healthy animals, responsible breeding and training practices, and included a full welcome pack for our new puppy, including food, toys and paperwork. She has remained in contact as well in case we need any assistance. Highly recommend her! 10/10 experience.

Ashley has been the best breeder we could have asked for! She is constantly providing pictures and updates and any information that you’d want as a puppy buyer! This was my first time getting a puppy from a breeder and I had a LOT of questions and she answered them all with expert answers! All her dogs are health screened which takes off a lot of pressure and all her puppies come with the essentials you need! It was suck a lovely surprise that she had a perfect Togo baggie for our puppy with treats and toys and so many more essentials! I could not be more grateful! Ashely, her husband, and her friends all were apart of our puppy journey and each one of them were amazing! We love our puppy!
