I'm Cecilia B., the breeder behind Evening Stars Poodles located in Diamond, MO. We breed for temperament, personality, conformation, and health. Our Poodles participate in obedience classes and conformation. We take great pride in our wonderful Standard Poodles. Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to do our part to better the breed. Our breeding program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of the Poodle breed while placing an emphasis on producing puppies of superior health, temperament, and conformation.
What makes your program special?
It is our passion to responsibly breed, raise, and socialize healthy and happy puppies so that others can enjoy the gift of living life with a Standard Poodle!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Cecilia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Limited Health Guarantee, vet checked, up to date on vaccines, tails docked, puppy starter pack and AKC limited registration. This deposit is nonrefundable. Remaining balance will be due the day the puppy is transferred.”

health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps
protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you
both have a clear understanding of the terms of your

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
