Q. & A. with Laura
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up with collies , but my first “grown up” collie was a daughter of Afterhours Color of the Wind “Rickey” from Carol Stanley and and PrairiePine Collies.
My second was a puppy out of the Tartanside line. I have loved John Buddies collie “Gladiator” and always dreamed of owning and showing a collie from his line.
With the help of wonderful mentors that opened their hearts and kennel to me, I have be blessed to have some amazing collie companions always by my side.
What makes your program special?
I strongly believe in strengthening the collie breed through genetic testing and striving to better the breed by strong healthy lines without the genetic issues collies are prone to.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and white, blue merle white and tan, black white and tan, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
