I'm Megan, the breeder behind Everly Australian Shepherds located in Puyallup, WA. We are breed enthusiasts and exhibitors who focus on temperament, health, and the breed standard so we can produce quality dogs! We produce puppies carefully and thoughtfully, and very occasionally have puppies available to exceptional homes. We have owned and loved Aussies for over twenty years. First and foremost, our dogs are members of our family and are treated as such. We proudly exhibit our dogs in several venues and complete all of the recommended breed-specific health tests. Our dogs are excellent in every way!
Q. & A. with Megan
Why did you start breeding?
I started exhibiting and competing with Australian Shepherds many years ago. I joined breed clubs, studied the breed standard, and was fortunate enough to have many excellent mentors in the breed. I am passionate about preserving the Australian Shepherd, and truly being a responsible and reputable breeder. A serious amount of thought and expense goes toward the dogs I own and produce.
What makes your program special?
I think it is important to know that purebred does not always mean well and thoughtfully bred. Not all breeders are the same. I am passionate about preserving the breed standard of the Australian Shepherd. My dogs are first and foremost beloved family members. Each dog has proven their worthiness through titling, earned championships, extensive health and temperament testing.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

He boasts a completely clear genetic screening, as well as clear annual eye exams, OFA hips with a rating of excellent, OFA elbows with a normal rating, and full dentition with a correct bite.
