Why did you start breeding?
Once I started showing, I knew I wanted to continue competing with my own dogs and thus began raising puppies with the hopes of producing my next show stopper. Other puppies in the litter are placed in loving homes as a pet companion.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program starts with parents that have extensive health testing in addition to show and working titles throughout their pedigree. Puppies are given the personal care, socialization, and diet necessary for healthy happy puppies. We provide lifelong support and send each puppy home with guidelines for care and training. Any dog that earns an AKC obedience title earns a reward from us!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Alyssa
Alyssa has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Alyssa partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

"AKC registration and microchip are pre-paid for each puppy. Puppy prices on Good Dog include a 6.5% platform fee, so they may differ from pricing shown on our site or elsewhere. "

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Full Embark Panel, D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
