I'm Alyssa, the breeder behind Evermor Labradors located in Colorado. We are a small Labrador exhibitor and breeder in Colorado. Our focus is to produce beautiful Labradors of quality to excel in the show ring, soundness for working, and most importantly, are healthy and have a friendly temperament to be a family companion. We actively compete in AKC shows in addition to health testing via OFA, CERF, and Embark DNA prior to breeding. We breed to the AKC Standard for the best in genetic health, conformation, and temperament.
Q. & A. with Alyssa
Why did you start breeding?
Once I started showing, I knew I wanted to continue competing with my own dogs and thus began raising puppies with the hopes of producing my next show stopper. Other puppies in the litter are placed in loving homes as a pet companion.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program starts with parents that have extensive health testing in addition to show and working titles throughout their pedigree. Puppies are given the personal care, socialization, and diet necessary for healthy happy puppies. We provide lifelong support and send each puppy home with guidelines for care and training. Any dog that earns an AKC obedience title earns a reward from us!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
