My puppies are raised with love and are placed in carefully selected homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My dogs are excellent representations of the breed, and I am proud to continue their line. I breed to help ensure the future of the breed and to improve upon my dogs' fantastic traits with each generation.
  • What makes your program special?

    I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. I keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Mindy

Mindy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC Registration, microchip and registration with AKC, initial puppy shots/worming, clearances of the parents/puppy. I do DNA testing and BAER (hearing) testing of the puppies. I am using most aspects of Puppy Culture in the raising of my puppies. Toys, food and other treats included. You can also receive a free month of Trupanion or AKC insurance, that starts right away. My contract will spell out my health guarantees more thoroughly. All of our puppies are the same price.”

Breeder-Reported Testing

Excellent level

Faerytails ECS reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for English Cocker Spaniels.

  • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Adult Onset Neuropathy (AON), Familial Nephropathy, Cocker Spaniel Type, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
