Meet the breeder

I'm Elizabeth T., the breeder behind Fairfax Aussies located in Alexandria, VA. Our ASDR registered pups are available to take home now (DOB 11/5/24). See our photos, parent's pedigrees (grand champion bloodlines) & DNA Canine Health Check records. Pups received their vet health check, shots & are microchipped. We look forward to meeting you!

Q. & A. with Elizabeth

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got started after getting my first Aussies, Sky and Hunter and falling in love with the breed. They are the best family dogs due to their love of their family, high intelligence and trainability.
  • What makes your program special?

My sire & dam are DNA health tested for the betterment of the breed and to give my buyers peace of mind, knowing that they are getting a healthy Aussie. They are also vet checked, vaccinated & microchipped. Years ago I got a boxer from a Mennonite/Amish seller in Hagerstown, MD and he had parasites & health issues. They typically don't health testing. Beware of white fur over ears and eyes also.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black & white, red & white, black tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Elizabeth was very kind to bring through girls out to meet us, saving us the trip out to them. I fell in love with one of thr pups, and even though I hadn't planned on adopting... I've now got a wonderful little sweetheart!

From the first time we saw Dasher until the day came to pick her up, Elizabeth helped us through the entire process without a single hiccup. I sent her several messages and she always responded promptly! I felt comfortable getting a puppy from Fairfax Aussies based on the quality of Elizabeth’s dog. We are so happy with our puppy. Not only is she beautiful, she is so smart and has a terrific personality. Thank you Elizabeth for completing our family.
