Why did you start breeding?
I'm Amy Dettore. I have been a lifelong animal lover, and my passion is breeding, raising, and showing exceptional dogs. I actively compete in conformation and carefully plan each breeding using quality, championship bloodlines with an emphasis on **health, beautiful breed type, sound structure, and outstanding temperaments**. I love every aspect of the process—from studying pedigrees and selecting breeding pairs to raising, evaluating, and showing the next generation. My goal is to produce beautiful, healthy, well-socialized puppies that are equally at home in the show ring or as beloved family companions. I take great pride in helping families find the right FairWilde puppy and am always happy to answer questions about my dogs and upcoming litters.What makes your program special?
I’m committed to quality over quantity and take a very hands-on, thoughtful approach to every litter. I know my dogs and puppies individually and put great care into matching each puppy with the right family. My goal is to send families home with a confident, well-adjusted companion they will be proud to own and love for years to come.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amy partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“I spend a great deal of time with my puppies and get to know their individual personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I also learn about each family’s lifestyle, experience, household, and preferences. Around 7–8 weeks, I use those observations to help match each puppy with the home where I believe they will thrive. While color, sex, and individual puppy preferences are considered, temperament and overall fit are always my priority. ”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
