I'm Vallerie A., the breeder behind Fairy Tails Shih Tzus CA located in California. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize raising a healthy and well socialized puppy. We are dedicated to raising exceptional quality puppies and spoiling them with love throughout their first eight weeks of life until they are ready to be loved by their new forever families.

Getting a puppy from Vallerie
Vallerie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $2,400 - $3,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes health guarantee and puppies are rehomed as pet only. The deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to a puppy from a different litter up to one year from deposit date.”

Fairy Tails is absolutely fabulous. I can NOT say enough good things about this experience. She was so patient and accommodating- she answered all of my questions and was very sweet and thorough. She takes wonderful care of these puppies and genetic testing is done. They are loved, and adorable - and have wonderful temperaments because of it. THIS IS THE WAY A TRUE BREEDER SHOULD OPERATE. We love our new baby boy!!!

Vallerie is absolutely incredible. She is very kind and she knows absolutely everything about the shihtzu. I am a first time dog owner as an adult, so I had so many questions. She was so patient with me the entire time before getting the puppy with any thoughts or concerns or questions-I always felt like she made time for me. She absolutely loves this breed and she cares about her dogs and these puppies so much. I got sweet Honey Louise yesterday on November the 27th. She is the most loving, kind, intelligent, warm, and playful puppies I’ve ever met in my life. And she is so soft and so beautiful ♥️She is also independent and loves to play on her own, but also loves to play with me as well. She slept through the first night without any issues. She is great with the puppy pad. I cannot recommend Vallerie enough. In the future-I will only buy a shihtzu puppy from her. You will absolutely love your future puppy ♥️ i love mine sooo much already and i feel so blessed

We brought our new puppy (Lucy) home on Monday. She is wonderful, sweet and very loving. Vallerie is a fantastic Shih Tzu breeder as it is so obvious after spending the last 3 days with Little Lucy. My family had the smoothest experience working with Fairy Tale Shih Tzus! Vallerie was very kind, had very quick responses to my messages and questions, and sent many pictures of Buster (now named Arlo) during the buying process. Vallerie was aware that my family lived far from where she is located in Bakersfield and we are so thankful that she drove closer to us in order to get Arlo. On the day we got Arlo, Vallerie was so kind to provide some goodies like treats, some toys, & a blanket for him. She also provided a packet with some puppy tips. Even after getting Arlo, Vallerie continued to message to make sure he was doing well in his new home :) We are so grateful to have Arlo as the newest addition to our family, he is very playful, but also loved to be cuddled. If my family decides to get Arlo a friend in the future, I would definitely come back to Fairy Tale Shih Tzus!!!
