Faith Ann's Dachshunds

Faith R.

Breeder of Dachshunds

Meet the breeder

I'm Faith R., the breeder behind Faith Ann's Dachshunds located in Vanceburg, KY. We raise our puppies with total care and attention so they can become well-socialized and loving additions to their forever homes. It’s important to us that we continue to improve our program and share our knowledge with our buyer families. We want to better the breed through thorough health testing and selective breeding decisions.

Q. & A. with Faith

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our journey began in the early 2000's when our teenage daughter came home begging us to adopt a rescue dachshund named Ernie. Which we hesitantly did. Ernie was an adult dachshund who had been neglected ,and abused. It didn't take long for him to warm up to us. Feeling loved, and secure in our home he thrived. In the process is when I personally fell totally in love with this breed.
  • What makes your program special?

Our family loves this breed and more than anything we want to breed beautiful, healthy and forever companions for our adoptive parents.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
