I'm Carey D., the breeder behind Faith, Feathers & FurBabies located in Wayne, WV. We breed for temperament and health above all else, but also understand the importance of having a beautiful, intelligent dog that meets breed standards. We choose only the best breeding dogs so we can be sure the puppies leaving us are something we can be proud of.
Q. & A. with Carey
Why did you start breeding?
I remember my excitement as a child when our dog had puppies, and then the joy of finding their forever families. Now my children can experience the same. After years of having only Aussies and then doing tons of research into genetics, we decided to help decrease shedding by introducing Poodles to many of our families. We finally found the exact colors/genetics we wanted!
What makes your program special?
We don’t use kennels or keep our dogs confined to live life only as a breeding dog. Instead, our dogs have a role on our farm and in our lives. Above all, they’re our beloved pets. Our puppies typically leave us totally crate trained and housebroken after early neurological stimulation and tons of socialization. We have many references who were completely surprised upon bringing their pup home.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Assorted Doodle Crosses puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Aussiedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Australian Shepherd puppies include black, blue merle, and red. Assorted Doodle Crosses puppies include merle, red tri-color, red merle, chocolate, blue merle, parti, black phantom, black tri-color, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
