Why did you start breeding?
I Fell in love with the breed when I was younger. I got my first Newfoundland when I was 18 and haven't been able to be without one since. Ive always had a love for what the breed is suppose to be according to the standard and we thrive for that.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are working on or received their AKC Championship or AKC Grand Championship in Conformation before we breed them. We focus on the proper health testing and making sure we breed to improve the breed. We are apart of the AKC Bred By Heart Program & Northstar Newfoundland Club

Our puppies include black and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Legg-Calve-Perthes (OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Cystinuria Type 1A, Newfoundland Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
