Faithful Paws Doxies

Kyleen K.

Breeder of Dachshunds

Meet the breeder

I'm Kyleen K., the breeder behind Faithful Paws Doxies located in Pueblo, CO. We are a small, home-based breeder of AKC miniature dachshunds in Pueblo, CO. Our puppies are raised in our home with early training & socialization. They are crate trained, potty trained, sleeping through the night, vet checked, up to date on shots, go home with a handbook/gift bag & starter items.

Q. & A. with Kyleen

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love for dachshunds and years of hands-on experience with the breed naturally led me into breeding. I wanted to raise puppies thoughtfully, with strong foundations in health, temperament, and early training, and to support families as they welcome a dachshund into their home.
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is built on a lifetime of experience with dachshunds & a deep love for the breed. Puppies are raised as part of the family, not in a kennel, with a strong focus on temperament, training, & a smooth transition into their forever homes. Each puppy goes home with early training already in place, along with a new-owner handbook, records, & ongoing support for families.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, cream, red, chocolate, brindle, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
