Q. & A. with Mary & Robert

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our fascination with this amazing breed. The intelligence, empathy, disposition, ease in training and their suitability for special needs, therapy, compassionate companion, and service work make them worthy of the best quality breeding practices and breeders. We strive to be one of those that have pride in our profession.
  • What makes your program special?

We believe that these extraordinary loving companions deserve our all. Therefore we go above and beyond when it comes to health testing. Our parents are required to complete full panel genetic testing (Paw Print Genetics) for both disease and physical traits. In addition, they must score excellent to good on registered OFA testing including hips, elbows, patellas, eyes and cardiac. We also require Penn Hip testing. Socialization too is most necessary- right from the beginning. Exposure to every type of person (of all ages), noises, music, different environments, touching, other pets, will always teach them to work through any reservations they may have. Probably the most important aspect in building a puppy’s confidence…Life is not scary after all. Adults and all puppies are raised in our home or (in the case of selected adults)with guardian families. We do not have a kennel. Every individual deserves their very own forever home.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Australian Labradoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Australian Labradoodle puppies include caramel, apricot, chocolate, and black. Goldendoodle puppies include cream and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
