I'm Jacob S., the breeder behind Fancy poodle kennel located in Indiana. We are committed to always responsibly breeding with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity at the forefront. The foundation of our breeding program starts with raising healthy and well-loved dogs. We aim to pass the same happiness of owning a quality-bred dog to our buyers.
Q. & A. with Jacob
Why did you start breeding?
We began breeding with just one female "Blue onyx Dixie" we decided that because she was a great example of her breed and she was an incredible therapy dog... Then there needed to be more of her in this world. And so we sought out a breeder that had quality male's and produced the first litter of Dixie puppies... Once we saw that most of them inherited her empathy and intelligence we were hooked !
What makes your program special?
We focus on #1 health and #2 certain personality traits, specifically empathy, intelligence, outgoing and a knack for offering emotional support to others. These are the qualities we breed for, and because of that we have puppies all over the US that are working as ESA dogs and therapy dogs.. It's incredible to think that a small part of our favorite girls are helping so many people in so many places
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
